The Engineering station is responsible for maintaining power requirements of all ship's systems plus ignition and calibration of both the impulse fusion reactors and the matter/anti-matter reactors. This station is manned at all times by a command grade engineering officer. During battle conditions all engine functions are under the direct control of this station and main engineering consoles are used to feed information to the bridge.
