FUNCTION OVERVIEW: A visual display showing a three-dimensional representation of local space with the ship being the center. Course plots can be projected here and other craft or navigational hazards can be plotted for evasion. The course heading is shown in the upper-right corner. The proximity alarm is located in the lower left. The display in the lower right shows any weapons lock from hostile vessels.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE: This unit must be taken off-line at a Federation spacedock for any maintenance or repair.
