PANEL NAME: EXTERNAL VIDEO
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT
FUNCTION OVERVIEW:
Used to assign frequency bandwidth and adjust signal
strength to all outgoing and incoming video communications.
There are two sets of controls, one for subspace signals and one
for space normal communications. The warp drive and impulse
calibration slides are used to eliminate feedback generated by
the drive units. There are three switches used to feed signal to
each of the video monitors in the Communication alcove.
PWR - Assigns power to
signal generators. The longer the tactile button is pressed, the
more indicator lights come on.
MONITOR - Turns on viewers
at the communication station.
MAIN - Routes incoming
signal to main viewer.
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE:
See MCX-320009-600.
